Linux Kernel 2.6.23

From PPCNUX: Linus made the Linux-Kernel in version 2.6.23 available. It supports XEN client support, EXT4, XFS and other stuff. The cool stuff is CFS aka Completely Fair Scheduler. And if the central part of a kernel is changed, you hope for a better way.

PowerPC GNU/Linux runs natively on PCI-based Apple Power Macintosh, many IBM and Motorola PReP and CHRP workstations, IBM pSeries and iSeries servers, Amiga Power-UP systems, and many embedded platforms that utilize the Motorola/Freescale and IBM/AMCC embedded PowerPC processors. The kernel supports multiple processors (SMP), which works on some Power Macintosh models and IBM servers.
