SAM440EP Limited Availability

The SAM440ep board is now available to "selected partners". The board contains an AMCC 440EP processor, plus onboard ATI graphics, SATA controller, USB, and most interestingly a LatticeXP FPGA device. No word yet on pricing.

penguinppc.org is the home of the PowerPC GNU/Linux project, the native port of GNU/Linux to the PowerPC processor. The site is is run and maintained by volunteers from the community. PowerPC GNU/Linux runs natively on PCI-based Apple Power Macintosh, many IBM and Motorola PReP and CHRP workstations, IBM pSeries and iSeries servers, Amiga Power-UP systems, and many embedded platforms that utilize the Motorola/Freescale and IBM/AMCC embedded PowerPC processors. The kernel supports multiple processors (SMP), which works on some Power Macintosh models and IBM servers.
