DENX Releases Embedded Linux Development Kit 4.1

DENX, makers of the popular Embedded Linux Development Kit (ELDK), have just released version 4.1. ELDK includes tools for cross-compilation, creating the root filesystem for the target platform, and support for multiple architectures. ELDK 4.1 is based on the Linux 2.6.19.2 kernel and supports all AMCC evaluation boards.

PowerPC GNU/Linux runs natively on PCI-based Apple Power Macintosh, many IBM and Motorola PReP and CHRP workstations, IBM pSeries and iSeries servers, Amiga Power-UP systems, and many embedded platforms that utilize the Motorola/Freescale and IBM/AMCC embedded PowerPC processors. The kernel supports multiple processors (SMP), which works on some Power Macintosh models and IBM servers.
